RENAZ: Renaz Ebrahimi, a prominent journalist and radio host, and member of the Mellow Yellow Collective in Helsinki, is celebrated for fostering a safer club culture. Specializing in hip hop and R&B, she seamlessly blends classics with the latest hits, adding SWANA sounds, afrobeats and amapiano for the perfect mix.
SMOKEY: DJ Smokey, known for his unique sound, plays a mix of rap and Afro music. He’s been creating his own mixtapes for a while now, available on SoundCloud. Keep an eye on this underground talent—remember the name, Smokey!
ASH: Ash is a DJ with a passion for seamlessly blending musical genres. She’s played in Helsinki’s hottest clubs and recently toured Egypt. Her open-concept sets create vibrant experiences, mixing Afrobeats, Afrohouse, Afrotech, Amapiano, 3step, and timeless R&B/HipHop, along with sounds from her Middle Eastern roots, crafting a fun environment for international audiences.
SHY GRL: DJ SHY GRL is a music scholar, journalist, editor, and dj. She is a founding member of the FWU collective and a resident at Club U-haul. She also hosts the r&b show Motions at IDA radio. In her sets, she creates a danceable blend of rap, r&b, afropop, amapiano, baile, ukg, jersey club, and millennium hits.
