TELECOM Club takes over Tanner on Saturday, March 23rd, with an electronic music evening focusing on rhythms typically played in clubs on empty dance floors. The inspiration for the club night comes from internet cafes of the early 2000s, a time when bars always had a DJ playing light but interesting rhythms. The musical lineup ranges from house to melodic techno specialties, funky 303 basslines, dub techno, forgotten minimalism, and slow rhythms. The evening evolves from post-dinner wine glasses towards clubs. The keyword is: Not too hard, not banging. Hosting and curating the club night is Heikka, who started his DJ journey in Internet cafes. The first evening's guests include Jokki, known from the Better Things To Do collective, and Pyry, who hosts the På Stugan program on Ida Radio.
